So it's fast approaching a week after the events in Davos and two weeks since Guildford. I thought I would share some memories of both, thoughts about the WEF and future plans!
Guildford Week
What a week! Who else but the British Council could bring together such an exciting mix of young people, who all were passionate, articulate and ACTIVE? Enduring memories will have to include...
... and many many more...
Davos Week
Well, you guys elected the six, so me, Asiana and a lovely Japanese lady got to spend the weekend with them in London before flying out to give the world leaders a piece of their minds at Davos. The week went soo quickly up in Monstein and it was soo cool to help the crew prepare and then share in their triumph as it all went soo well. Some (printable) memories would have to include...
Thoughts about WEF
big wealth,
large power,
sharp style,
excellent youth,
cold snow,
nice.... cheese?
Future Plans?
Well, I think we have to keep the community going, sharing stories and encouraging each other. This has to be done in a real way, and there should be a element of accountability there. Who knows maybe we'll meet up as a group, maybe we won't but we'll always have this space online!!

awww!!!! Reading all those memories makes me wanna stop time, rewind and replay it all over again!!!! Might I point out that I’m going to be extremely diplomatic and agree with both Juan and Ben
We had a mixture of both Argentinian and Belfastian (if such a word exists!) randomness!!!! Not to forget how grouchy the boys were in the morning!!!! You’d think they were bears cause they seemed to love to hibernate in the wintry weather!

Yes we loved to sleep. But luckily, we had our sister Rhadeena, from Sri Lanka who woke us all up.
thanks rhaade.
I do miss all those memories as well!

hehe! No problemo!!!! I never thought I’d say this but I actually miss your singing my brother from Argentina!

You all are crazy! In a great was though, and I miss you all.
to hear about it.
Juan and Rhadeena, I want to hear about the rest of your stay. I know you are busy, and trying to get back into the swing of everything, but I am really excited (not in the Latin American way though- hehe
Ben, I love your thoughts about WEF. Reminds me of creative writing with Franz! Go dog run, up the hill with ice cream!! hehe!
There are so many memories to chose from. Every time I look at the pictures I remember another funny story when Yunan decided to jump off the hill and then we all tripped/ran/fell/froze all the way down.
But we also have so many more memories to make now- I am tired of all this “trip down memory lane” stuff. We aren’t all dead! There is still fun to be had

Hey Ben,
Just read your memories from the Monstein/Davos week, which still gives me a buzz. If you ever want to borrow my yellow jeans, an email will do. Oh and poetry isn’t just for girls, as you so rightly find, but it works well with some. Caroline will tell you…
Take care to lot of you, Rhadeena, Whitney, Juan, Gilli, Asania, Nick, Yunan and all of the gang I never got to meet. And who knows, perhaps we may get some online creative writing/mayhem going one of these days!
Luv
Franz
