Given our shared aims of empowering youth worldwide to make positive change in their communities, the IYF's YouthActionNet Program and the Global Changemakers programme share resources, ideas and best practices. Together, we are seeking to move governments and policy makers to better incorporate the voice and experience of youth into decision-making processes and to foster the skilling-up of youth in social entrepreneurship and community activism around the world.
The Nike Foundation is generously supporting Global Changemakers Community Action Projects (CAPs) that transform the lives of adolescent girls in Africa and the Middle East. At present, girl effect CAPs are working in communities in Ethiopia, Yemen, and Uganda.
Through its donors, Carigest is generously supporting the training and capacity building of Changemakers at the Global Youth Summit for the next three years.
Our partnership with TILE allows us to connect privileged youth in the West with Global Changemakers around the world, allowing TILE clients to volunteer their time and resources and to learn the impact of youth-led development.
Our partnership with the World Bank includes collaboration on best practices in youth-led development and on learning together what the most targeted and impactful contributions are that youth can make in their local communities. By combining the economic and sociological know-how of the World Bank and the World Bank Institute together with the grassroots experience of Global Changemakers in 98 countries worldwide, we can make effective and lasting change in communities around the world.
